This past week, the Rabil Tour embarked upon it's first double-header - with sold-out stops in Baltimore and Philadelphia. The events saw juxtaposition of two very unique sites - US Lacrosse's Headquarter, which could (might) have been tailor-made for the Rabil Tour - and Main Line Sports Center - a premium indoor facility tucked away in Berwyn, PA. But the stops were far from sleepy. With over 400 players and 300 parents onsite collectively between the two stops, we witnessed competition from some top local talent. Shots were clocked in above 80mph, 14 Warps were claimed by champions of different age groups, and the Rabil Tour team consumed more coffee per capita than Seattle circle 1990. There's a certain passion for the game in Baltimore and Philadelphia that you can sense in the crowd. Players are motivated, parents are engaged, and there's a collective recognition that - while lacrosse is taking roots in many cities around the country - the sport holds a special place for those that have it in their veins.
